The year was 1994, and the PC shareware gaming scene was on the verge of an explosion, with smash hits like Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. Meanwhile, another game was poised to burst on the PC shareware scene, ?Raptor: Call to Shadows?. Created by developer Scott Host, only one year removed from being a basement programmer, Raptor proved to be another smash hit, taking the PC world by storm with its amazing visuals and special effects. It launched Scott?s own company, Cygnus Studios, which later became Mountain King Studios.
